Border Patrol agents told ‘run away,’ ‘hide’ from gunmen: "(Fox News) Border Patrol agents in Arizona are blasting their bosses for telling them, along with all other Department of Homeland Security employees, to run and hide if they encounter an “active shooter.”

It’s one thing to tell civilian employees to cower under a desk if a gunman starts spraying fire in a confined area, say members of Tucson Local 2544/National Border Patrol Council, but to give armed law enforcement professionals the same advice is downright insulting. The instructions from DHS come in the form of pamphlets and a mandatory computer tutorial.

“We are now taught in an ‘Active Shooter’ course that if we encounter a shooter in a public place we are to ‘run away’ and ‘hide’” union leader Brandon Judd wrote on the website of 3,300-member union local. “If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become ‘aggressive’ and ‘throw things’ at him or her. We are then advised to ‘call law enforcement’ and wait for their arrival (presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered).”"

The gross domestic product (GDP) dropped from last quarter's 3.0 percent to an anemic 1.9 percent. Over half of first-quarter growth came from automobile sales. When automobiles are removed from the calculation, the GDP grew at just 0.7 percent.
 Second-quarter growth estimates of 2.0 percent growth, therefore, may be overly optimistic."

“Our cases establish a clear line between a tax and a penalty: “[A] tax is an enforced contribution to provide for the suppport of a government; a penalty . . . is an exaction imposed by statute as punishment for an unlawful act.” U. S. v. Reorganized CF&I Fabricators of Utah, Inc., 518 U.S. 213, 224 (1996) (quoting United States v. La Franca, 282 U. s. 568, 572 (1931)). In a few cases, this Court has held that a “tax” imposed upon private conduct was so onerous as to be in effect a penalty. But we have never held–never–that a penalty imposed for violation of the law was so trivial as to be in effect a tax. We have never held that any exaction imposed for violation of the law is an exercise of Congress’ taxing power-even when the statute calls it a tax, much less when (as here) the statute repeatedly calls it a penalty.

In further part, the dissent presses this point by observing as follows:

We never have classified as a tax an exaction imposed for violation of the law, and so too, we never have classified as a tax an exaction described in the legislation itself as a penalty.

But we have never–never–treated as a tax an exaction which faces up to the critical difference between a tax and a penalty, and explicitly denominates the exaction a “penalty.” Eighteen times in § 5000A itself and elsewhere throughout the Act, Congress called the exaction in § 5000A(b) a “penalty”

The day started out with hope but soon was lost to betrayal. Benedict Roberts has with his choice enslaved future Americans to lifetimes of slavery to the state.  His ruling has and will increase government now without any checks or stops.  Any government decree can now be mandated as a tax. I can only wonder what was the price paid for his vote?  I know the price "We The People" will pay with our freedoms.  Freedoms that were once the pride of the nation but soon to be just a memory as more and more government controls are placed over our lives.

They are using this bad law to destroy your rights. Your 2nd Amendment gun rights, your freedom of Religion, and now many many other freedoms we took for granted are all lost.

But do not give up all hope. We can become strong doing what is needed to save the nation. We must get real conservatives in power and remove the Progressive Democrats and Progressive Republicans.

Today, a U.S. District Judge appointed by former President Bill Clinton denied the Department of Justice's request, according to the Miami Herald. Florida will now be able to rightfully remove non-citizens from its voter rolls.
Scott said in a statement that "the court made a common-sense decision consistent with what I’ve been saying all along: that irreparable harm will result if non-citizens are allowed to vote."

Elizabeth Warren Speaks With Forked Tongue

First she’s a Native American. Now, she was apparently “the first nursing mother to take a bar exam in the state of New Jersey.”

When asked how Warren knows that, her campaign said: “Elizabeth was making a point about the very serious challenges she faced as a working mom — from taking an all-day bar exam when she was still breast-feeding, to finding work as a lawyer that would accommodate a mom with two small children.”

Ah, so she was merely “making a point,” not telling actual truth.  I love it when liberals “make points.”

The Boston Herald did some digging and found that Warren’s “point” isn’t even accurate.  While the state (thankfully) doesn’t track whether female law students are breastfeeding while studying for the bar exam, the suggestion that Warren was a trailblazing woman in the field of law is outrageous (emphasis mine):

Winnie Comfort of the New Jersey Judiciary, which administers that state’s bar exam, said there’s no way to verify Warren’s claim. Comfort said women have been taking the New Jersey bar exam since 1895, but she’s not aware their nursing habits were ever tracked.

 "A single internal Department of Justice email could be the smoking-gun document in the Operation Fast and Furious scandal — if it turns out to contain what congressional investigators have said it does.

The document would establish that wiretap application documents show senior DOJ officials knew about and approved the gunwalking tactic in Fast and Furious. This is the opposite of what Attorney General Eric Holder and House oversight committee ranking Democratic member Rep. Elijah Cummings have claimed.

It appears that email would also prove senior DOJ officials, likely including Holder himself, knew in March 2011 that a Feb. 4, 2011 letter from the DOJ to Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley falsely denied guns were permitted to “walk” into Mexico. The DOJ allowed that false letter to stand for nine more months, only withdrawing it in December 2011."

The surprise announcement came shortly after the Supreme Court decided that Arizona has the constitutional right to quiz suspected illegal immigrants about their legal right to be in the country.

“This isn’t an end-run [around the Supreme Court], this is a complete disregard of the constitutional process,” said Horace Cooper, director of the National Center for Public Policy Research. The court authorized Arizona’s actions, and the administration is going out of its way to frustrate those actions, he said.

“This is a direct rejection of the idea that our constitutional system set the Supreme Court up to answer these kind questions,” he said."

The SCOTUS Attacks The Constitution.... Again

With the recent ruling on the Arizona Immigration case, the court has shown how deeply the Progressive infection has become in every branch of government.   It is clear to see why Obama granted Amnesty to so many illegals. He had already know that the court was going to take the legs out from under the states.  He already knew that the court was going to ensure that Obama's refusal to enforce the law was going to be allowed.

The next blow to freedom and stats rights will be the Healthcare ruling which now appears to be going the way Obama wants. High level Progressive already seem to have knowledge how the justices voted. They are celebrating that most of it will stand.  That even the mandate to force Americans to buy insurance will in some form pass by the court.

It should have been expected. Look at the appointments to the court. If they are not Progressive liberals appointed by a Democrat President then they are likely to be RINO's appointed by RINO Republican Presidents.

Obam never needed to try to transform America.  The Supreme Court was already hard at work doing that for years.

Washington (CNN) -- A letter sent to President Barack Obama will outline why his invocation of executive privilege over documents sought by lawmakers investigating the botched Fast and Furious gun-running sting is either "overbroad, or simply wrong," House Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa said Sunday.

The letter will be sent later Sunday or Monday, Issa, R-California, told ABC's "This Week." The oversight committee voted Wednesday to refer a potential contempt citation against Attorney General Eric Holder to the full House, which is set to vote this week.

"We're past that part of the discovery, relative to contempt, Issa said. "We know that there's a lot of wrong things and we want to fix it. What we're talking about now, when we get lied to, when the American people get lied to, there can't be oversight when there's lying.

"The Supreme Court held pretty clearly there cannot be executive privilege over a criminal cover-up," he said. "... Lying to Congress is a crime. We have every right to see documents to say, 'Did you know?' 'What did you know?' including even the president."

Why WE Should All Support Obama... NOT

I was trying to think up a list of things that would make people want to support Obama.


As President Obama started new secret wars in Africa, started drone attacks in other countries, has imposed a health tax that has killed business start-ups and expansion, he has imported cheep labor from Mexico and other countries with his Amnesty program taking jobs from a already high unemployed American public, his banking reforms has forced banks to almost completely stop lending for new homes, sold us into more debt to China then all other Presidents combined, and lets not forget the Fast and Furious gun running he championed that has killed 400 + Mexicans as well as US law enforcement agents. Yeah Obama has transformed America... into a third world food stamp and big government excessive regulatory nation. 


With a record like that we all should support him.      NOT!!!
