Proposed Colorado Law Would Outlaw Most Pump Action Shotguns

The new assault weapons bill that has already passed the state House and has support from the governor will make illegal most popular models of pump shotguns.
The bill outlaws shotguns that can accept, or can be made to accept more than 8 shells.
Readily available tube extensions (including homemade extensions) for most popular shotguns are readily available or easily made. This would mean that virtually no pump action shotguns could be bought, sold or transfered in CO after July 1 if this bill is signed into law.
To all those who said, “Don’t worry, no one is coming after your shotguns and hunting rifles,” what do you have to say now.
Personally I can’t really see this holding up to a court challenge based on the Heller decision, but it just goes to show the anti gun politicians are going to push things as far as they possibly can.
