Violent attacks strike pro-lifer’s house

Will Holders DOJ investigate this terrorist attack on a American family?  NOPE... because it was done by "his people".

Violent attacks strike pro-lifer’s house:

Within two days of being profiled on Newsweek’s website The Daily Beast, a “personhood” advocate was startled by a rock thrown though his front door and vandals painting vulgarities on his family’s home.

Keith and Jennifer Mason of Denver, Colo., lead PersonhoodUSA, a Christian ministry seeking to establish human rights under the law for all children from the beginning of their biological development, a controversial stance that would effectively ban all abortions.

But after a profile of the Masons and their work around the country appeared on The Daily Beast last week, the comments section below the article became so “vicious and personal,” the website confirms, the section had to be shut down.

Reportedly, someone even posted the Mason’s home address.

Two nights later, the Masons report, a large rock was heaved through the double-paned glass of their front door, scattering glass throughout their living room and across the front porch, covering their children’s toys and items for the couple’s expected new baby. The vandals also spray painted coat hangers and vulgarity in large letters on the front and sides of their house.

“I was in the basement, catching a movie and having a beer, to just chill,” Mason later told Newsweek. “I heard a loud noise and thought one of our kids had fallen down the stairs. I ran through a bunch of glass and I saw red – it was surreal; I didn’t know if it was blood on the glass or what. It turned out to be spray paint. There was red paint all over the side of our house. They spray-painted coat hangers all over my sidewalk and door.”

“The article does state that we have three small children, and that my wife is due to deliver our fourth child very soon,” explained Mason in a statement. “It is shocking to consider that someone would be so cruel and heartless to attack a home with a pregnant woman and small children inside. Apparently, the pro-choice crowd has no more compassion for born children than they do for the preborn.”

But PersonhoodUSA reports the violence didn’t stop there. Also last week, fellow pro-life volunteer Everett Stadig was reportedly assaulted while petitioning for Colorado’s personhood initiative and suffered several injuries, including a broken hip, which required surgery.

“Our reaction is one of puzzlement. What kind of person would terrorize the home of a family with young, innocent children inside?” continued Mason. “We’re left wondering what these abortion fanatics hoped to accomplish.”

Mason reports his children were “pretty traumatized,” that their family “knocked on a friend’s home at 4 a.m.” to find shelter the night of the attack and has now moved to an undisclosed location.

Still, the determined example of Stadig persevering in the cause, despite suffering physical injury to his person, has only steeled their resolve.

“Not only are these hateful attacks uncalled for, but they have renewed our resolve to press forward,” Mason said. “It is a great testimony that even as Everett recuperates in the hospital he is undeterred, even asking hospital staff and visitors for their signatures on his personhood petition. We are all following his example, pressing forward despite hardships, determined to continue to defend the lives of women and babies – all of whom deserve better than abortion.”
