Allen West (R-FL) accused President Barack Obama of refusing to stand up to two-bit, third world despots, including Fidel Castro, Castro’s “BFF” (“best friend forever”) Venezuela President Hugo Chavez, and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
“This is a dangerous world in which we are living. The threat in China as a rising superpower, Iran draws even closer to developing nuclear capabilities, and we are sitting around acting like Sir Neville Chamberlain in the 1930s, waving a piece of paper believing that there will be ‘peace in our time,’” said a fired-up Rep. West, referring to the famously incompetent and ineffective British Prime Minister partly responsible for Adolf Hitler’s rise to power.
“There is unrest in all major cities across Europe, across Asia, across the entire world. And the reason why that is happening is because America is devoid of committed, resilient, strong leadership,” he added."
