Judge rules Texas beer laws unconstitutional - Houston craft beer | Examiner.com: "Texas is a pro-business state, or so they tell us. Its laws are supposedly friendly to entrepreneurship at all levels and they encourage innovation and job growth. But in spite of what lawmakers say to promote Texas as an economic wonderland, the state still has its share of strange laws that not only impair business, but also fly in the face of common sense and reason.
Nowhere is the fact of stupid laws clearer than with those relating to beer and brewing. Texas brewers have been complaining loudly and clearly about these idiotic infringements for a long time and it has often been stated that legal action would be the only possible means to overturn the insanity and move the state of Texas well past the days of prohibition."
