Alleged hacked emails from defense contractor Britam reveal a plan “approved by Washington” and funded by Qatar to stage a chemical weapons attack in Syria and blame it on the Assad regime, fulfilling what the Obama administration has made clear is a “red line” that would mandate US military intervention.

The fact that the plan involves delivering a CW (chemical weapon) that is “similar to those Assad should have,” clearly suggests that the idea is to stage a false flag chemical weapons attack that could be blamed on Assad by Gulf states like Qatar and NATO powers.

If the claim that such as plot was “approved by Washington” can be verified, then the Obama administration is complicit in a war crime.

According to Cyber War News, which details the process of how the emails were hacked and includes screenshots of the leaked documents, the hack also uncovered, “extremely personal information,” including copies of passports of Britam employees, some of whom appeared to be mercenaries.

One software systems administrator who analyzed the ‘header’ details from the email in question concluded, “I have to admit that the email does indeed look genuine….all these facts check out. So with Mythbusters objectivity I have to call this one plausible.”

Online business profiles confirm that both David Goulding and Philip Doughty work for Britam Defence.

Last year, reports began to circulate that that US-backed rebel fighters in Syria had been given gas masks and were willing to stage a chemical weapons attack which would then be blamed on the Assad regime to grease the skids for NATO military intervention.

Soon after in August, President Barack Obama warned that the use or even transportation of chemical weapons by the Assad regime would represent a “red line” that would precipitate military intervention. French President Francois Hollande followed suit, stating that the use of such weapons “Would be a legitimate reason for direct intervention.”

At around the same time, a source told Syrian news channel Addounia that a Saudi company had fitted 1400 ambulance vehicles with anti-gas & anti-chemical filtering systems at a cost of $97,000 dollars each, in preparation for a chemical weapons attack carried out by FSA rebels using mortar rounds. A further 400 vehicles were prepared as troop carriers.

The attack would be blamed on the Syrian Army and exploited as an excuse for a military assault. A March 2012 Brookings Institution report entitled Saving Syria: Assessing Options For Regime Change outlined this very scenario – where a manufactured humanitarian crisis would be cited as justification for an attack.

Yesterday, Israel’s vice premier Silvan Shalom told reporters that if Syrian rebels obtained chemical weapons from stockpiles belonging to the Assad regime, such a development would force Israel to resort to “preventive operations,” in other words – a military strike on Syria.

In December, a shocking video emerged of Syrian rebels testing what appeared to be a form of nerve gas on rabbits, bolstering claims that the rebels had already obtained chemical weapons.

As Tony Cartalucci also highlights, “Mention of acquiring chemical weapons from Libya is particularly troubling. Libya’s arsenal had fallen into the hands of sectarian extremists with NATO assistance in 2011 in the culmination of efforts to overthrow the North African nation . Since then, Libya’s militants led by commanders of Al Qaeda’s Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) have armed sectarian extremists across the Arab World, from as far West as Mali, to as far East as Syria.”

Last month, 29 different US-backed Syrian opposition groups pledged their allegiance to Al Nusra, an Al-Qaeda-affiliated group which, as the New York Times reported, “killed numerous American troops in Iraq.

Numerous reports confirm that Al Nusra is the leading front line fighting force in Syria and is commanding other rebel groups. Given their prominent role, allied with the fact that the terror group has been responsible for numerous bloody attacks in Syria, the notion that the Obama administration would approve a plot that could see chemical weapons fall into the hands of Al-Qaeda terrorists could represent a foreign policy scandal even bigger than Benghazi-Gate.

In a related story, the Syrian Electronic Army, a separate hacktivist group, continues to release hacked files and emails from numerous sensitive foreign ministry and military websites belonging to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, including emails sent between these countries.

Leaked emails have allegedly proved that the White House gave the green light to a chemical weapons attack in Syria that could be blamed on Assad's regime and in turn, spur international military action in the devastated country.

A report released on Monday contains an email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor Britam Defence where a scheme 'approved by Washington' is outlined explaining that Qatar would fund rebel forces in Syria to use chemical weapons.

Barack Obama made it clear to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad last month that the U.S. would not tolerate Syria using chemical weapons against its own people.

According to Infowars.com, the December 25 email was sent from Britam's Business Development Director David Goulding to company founder Philip Doughty.

It reads: 'Phil... We’ve got a new offer. It’s about Syria again. Qataris propose an attractive deal and swear that the idea is approved by Washington.

'We’ll have to deliver a CW to Homs, a Soviet origin g-shell from Libya similar to those that Assad should have.

'They want us to deploy our Ukrainian personnel that should speak Russian and make a video record.

Britam Defence had not yet returned a request for comment to MailOnline.

The emails were released by a Malaysian hacker who also obtained senior executives resumés and copies of passports via an unprotected company server, according to Cyber War News.

Dave Goulding's Linkedin profile lists him as Business Development Director at Britam Defence Ltd in Security and Investigations. A business networking profile for Phil Doughty lists him as Chief Operationg Officer for Britam, United Arab Emirates, Security and Investigations.

The U.S. State Department had not returned a request for comment on the alleged emails to MailOnline today at time of publication.

However the use of chemical warfare was raised at a press briefing in D.C. on January 28.

A spokesman said that the U.S. joined the international community in 'setting common redlines about the consequences of using chemical weapons'.

A leaked U.S. government cable revealed that the Syrian army more than likely had used chemical weapons during an attack in the city of Homs in December.

The document, revealed in The Cable, revealed the findings of an investigation by Scott Frederic Kilner, the U.S. consul general in Istanbul, into accusations that the Syrian army used chemical weapons in the December 23 attack.

An Obama administration official who had access to the document was reported as saying: 'We can't definitely say 100 per cent, but Syrian contacts made a compelling case that Agent 15 was used in Homs on Dec. 23.'

Mr Kilner's investigation included interviews with civilians, doctors, and rebels present during the attack, as well as the former general and head of the Syrian WMD program, Mustafa al-Sheikh.

Dr. Nashwan Abu Abdo, a neurologist in Homs, is certain chemical weapons were used. He told The Cable: 'It was a chemical weapon, we are sure of that, because tear gas can't cause the death of people.'

Eye witness accounts from the investigation revealed that a tank launched chemical weapons and caused people exposed to them to suffer nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, delirium, seizures, and respiratory distress.

The symptoms suggest that the weaponized compound Agent-15 was responsible. Syria denied using chemical weapons and said it would never use them against citizens.

Speaking to Pentagon reporters at the time, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said his biggest concern was how the U.S. and allies would secure the chemical and biological weapons sites scattered across Syria and ensure the components don't end up in the wrong hands if the regime falls, particularly under violent conditions.

Government forces and rebels in Syria have both been accused by human rights groups of carrying out brutal warfare in the 22-month-old conflict, which has claimed more than 60,000 lives.

The Obama Administration Has Been Abusing the IRS for Years

The alleged abuse by the Obama Administration of the United States Internal Revenue Service goes back much farther than the current inquiry into whether conservative political groups seeking non-profit status had their applications deliberately "slow walked" through the process on the order of White House personnel.

Back in 2010, when the president and his senior advisers were busy "demonizing" the nascent Tea Party Movement and its supporters, Austan Goolsbee, who was then chairman of Obama's Council of Economic Advisers, made a comment during a conference call with reporters that implied he had taken a peek at the confidential tax returns belonging to Koch Industries, the industrial giant that is one of the nation's largest privately held companies and is a favorite bête noire of the American left.

Goolsbee's seemingly offhand reference to Koch Industries' tax returns during the call caught the attention of several influential members of Congress including Sen. Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate committee that has jurisdiction over the IRS. Along with six of his colleagues, the senior senator from Iowa asked the Treasury Department's inspector general for tax administration to look into the matter.

An offense of this type is a serious breach of privacy, with potential criminal and financial penalties attached. Tax returns are confidential documents. It's been that way at least since the administration of President Calvin Coolidge. Political appointees are not supposed to be able to see them, especially for the purpose of gathering useful intelligence that can be used to attack the reputations of a president's political opponents. One would expect that violations of this type, especially ones that had garnered the attention of senior lawmakers on Capitol Hill would be handled quickly, efficiently and thoroughly.

Unfortunately, no one really knows what happened because, as Eliana Johnson reported earlier this week for National Review Online, the investigation concluded two years ago with no charges filed but no one outside the U.S. Department of the Treasury has apparently been allowed to see the report.

As Johnson reported, Grassley – who asked for the investigation – has not been allowed to see it. Neither has anyone from Koch Industries, who have asked to see it but have been given the traditional bureaucratic runaround, with the Treasury Department telling the company to talk to the IRS and the IRS telling the company to talk to the Treasury Department.

The rules that are supposed to guarantee the information on tax returns remains confidential are also used to keep reports on alleged invasions of privacy secret. Unless a referral seeking prosecution is made to the U.S. Department of Justice, at which point the report would become public.

"If Justice declines to prosecute," Johnson wrote, "all the relevant information remains under lock and key. Critics worry that a highly politicized Justice Department is unlikely to take up cases that have the potential to damage the Obama administration."

What it boils down to is this: The victim of an alleged crime is not allowed to see the report that determines whether or not a crime was committed. Even worse, as Johnson explained in her story, "The results of investigations conducted by the Treasury Department inspector general are considered the confidential tax information of the alleged perpetrator." Meaning the person who may have committed the crime receives the very protections they themselves have been accused of violating.

It has long been documented that presidents and political appointees have used the IRS to make trouble for their political opponents or to score political points, as was the case regarding former U.S Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon and Philadelphia newspaper publisher Moses Annenberg – whom the Roosevelt Administration hounded into prison and some say an early grave because of his opposition to the New Deal and other FDR initiatives. Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon both used the tax agency as a weapon against those seeking to thwart their initiatives and threaten their rule. Even though Goolsbee still maintains he simply misspoke when he said, "We have a series of entities that do not pay corporate income tax… (S)ome of which are really giant firms – you know, Koch Industries, I think, is one" it seems an awfully well-informed mistake to make.

Raiding for political purposes and sharing information contained in individual or corporate tax returns is a frightening abuse of power; perhaps the most serious that can occur outside the government's war making ability. The Obama administration now stands accused of doing just that. Congress should act to change the law that keeps reports like this secret, leaving it to the discretion of the potential victim, rather than the Treasury Department or the IRS, to decide whether or not anything should be released.

Uncovering the full truth about IRS abuse of power

Big scandals start off as small stories. The controversy engulfing the Internal Revenue Service seems to grow bigger every day. What began as what the Obama administration said was a handful of “rogue agents” in a local Cincinnati office has turned into a scandal that runs all the way to the highest levels of the IRS and maybe beyond. The question every American should be asking is this: Just how far does this story go, and when is President Barack Obama going to do something about it?

In the run-up to the last election, I started receiving troubling reports from conservative groups in Ohio about alleged mistreatment by the IRS. In response, in March 2012, I spearheaded a Senate letter to the IRS demanding answers. Six weeks later IRS officials assured us that only legitimate criteria were used to evaluate tax-exempt groups. That assurance proved false, and instead of correcting the record when they say they learned the truth a week later, the IRS remained silent. The truth was uncovered only when the press began to report on the agency’s ideological targeting.

But the cover-up didn’t end when IRS misconduct became public. Initially, the IRS sought to explain away its political targeting as a “shortcut” to deal with a “surge” in tax-exempt applications. But the record soon revealed that tax-exempt applications actually declined the year the targeting began. Then the IRS claimed that any misconduct could be attributed to a handful of “rogue” employees from a regional office, rather than at the direction of senior officials in Washington, D.C. But investigators soon found letters targeting Tea Party groups signed by Lois Lerner, the Washington-based IRS official who led the division that carried out the targeting policy. Ms. Lerner refused to answer questions from a congressional committee investigating this issue, choosing instead to invoke her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

Now an IRS whistle-blower has confirmed what many had suspected but could not prove — the misconduct involved not only Ms. Lerner and the Washington office generally, but specifically included the IRS chief counsel, one of only two Obama political appointees in the entire agency. Several news outlets have now reported that the chief counsel may have met with the president at the White House on April 23, 2012, just two days before the IRS issued a revised set of “be on the lookout” instructions to IRS agents reviewing tax-exempt applications that appear to target Tea Party groups for more stringent review. Perhaps most troubling, the White House’s timeline of events — who knew what and when — has changed repeatedly since news of improper targeting first became public.

And the scope of the scandal is growing. Just a few days ago,congressional investigators released emails suggesting that staff at the Federal Election Commission were engaged in conservative targetingof their own, perhaps with improper help from Ms. Lerner and the IRS. Now evidence is mounting that one of the most powerful agencies of the federal government — the Securities and Exchange Commission — has also engaged in political targeting. In a letter to the chairwoman of the SEC, congressional leaders revealed that documents produced for the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform “indicate that the SEC has been under immense pressure from elected officials and special interest groups as part of a government-wide effort to stifle political speech.”

With each new revelation we discover more incompetence, and more examples of politicized enforcement of the law — all enemies of good governance. And while the Obama administration has voiced outrage about government misconduct, it has failed to provide the American people and congressional investigators with critical information and promised transparency. Outrage has not led to action.

Instead, the president and his administration have ignored requests for more information — including multiple specific requests from me. They also have not fully answered a bipartisan investigation by the Senate Finance Committee of which I am a member. In total opposition to the words and assurances of the White House, the IRS, which answers to the president, has simply failed to comply with many of the committee’s requests.

Based on its conduct, the position of the Obama administration seems to be that if they ignore these scandals long enough, they will simply go away. The White House has gone so far as to refer to the outrage surrounding revelations about the IRS as a “phony scandal.” That’s a shame. This pattern of misconduct represents everything that is wrong with Washington, and it is behavior like this that has shattered the trust of the American people in their government.

If the Administration does not come clean soon, the stain from this scandal will not just be on the IRS, but on the Administration as a whole.

‘HATE THEM’: HERE’S WHAT TEEN ACCUSED OF MURDERING AUSTRALIAN STUDENT HAD TO SAY ABOUT ‘WHITE’ PEOPLE, GUNS AND KILLING ON TWITTER

The Twitter account believed to belong to 15-year-old James Edwards, one of the three teens charged in the murder of Australian student Chris Lane, is filled with graphic and shocking language about killing, smoking and even hating white people.

Edwards and Chancey Luna, 16, have been charged with first degree murder in the case. They each face life in prison and are being held without bond in Duncan, Okla. Micheal Jones, 17, has been charged with using a vehicle to facilitate the discharge of a weapon and accessory after the fact of murder in the first degree.

In one outrageous tweet, Edwards writes: “90% of white ppl are nasty. #HATE THEM.”

In another, he claims he “knocked out 5 woods since Zimmerman court.” The word “woods” is also a derogatory term used to describe white people.

TheBlaze has compiled a list of the Edwards’s most hateful and inflammatory Twitter posts, some of which are reportedly lyrics from rap songs (WARNING! Very graphic content):

And there was plenty more where that came from on his account.

TheBlaze has also reported on other photos and videos discovered on various social media sitesappearing to belong to Edwards. These messages were taken from the now-deactivated Facebook account believed to belong to the accused teen (Warning! Strong language):

It was also revealed on Wednesday that the three teens may have been members of a gang in Duncan, Okla.

James Johnson, 52, claims his son, Christopher, told him at least one of the accused teenagers was going to kill him.

Johnson says Edwards threatened to kill his son on Facebook “because they are in a gang, the Crips, and were trying to get my son in it and I wouldn’t let him do it.”
