Obama is Now Closing Private Businesses

Park Rangers blocked the entrance to the Pigsah Inn off the Blue Ridge Parkway, telling prospective customers that it was closed.  The Pigsah Inn is a privately owned establishment.  The Blue Ridge Parkway is a road maintained by the NPS that couldn’t be closed because it is the main artery between cities and is considered a main thoroughfare.

Bruce O’Connell, owner of the inn, received a letter from the National Park Service, telling him to close down until the government shutdown was over.  The idea of closing parks and other government establishments is ostensibly to save money.  Thr Pigsah Inn, which is a private concern and has no NPS personnel working on site, is actually costing the NPA more, since they have assigned two officers to block the entrance and force it’s closure.

After a few days of being closed, O’Connell decided enough was enough and reopened his business on Friday, defying the NPS.  Is an IRS audit far behind?  His in is on private property along a highway which is open.  He is defying the NPS to close the inn, because he simply believes the NPS does not have the authority to close a private business that pays all of it’s own bills.

The Pigsah Inn is not a unique situation as the NPS has also closed City Tavern in Philadelphia, and Nauset Knoll Motor Lodge on Cape Cod.  They have also closed down the Atlantic Ocean, believe it or not.  There is talk in Washington of a major investigation into the actions of the NPS and questions as to is ordering these closures, although it’s unlikely the head of the NPS would do these things without the explicit order or blessing of the oval office.

Michael Litterst, the Park Service’s chief spokesman said:

“It’s a matter that we consider the National Park System to be a single entity, and without an appropriation, the entire system is closed and cannot reopen until funding is restored.  We do not believe it is appropriate or feasible to have some parts of the system open while others are closed to the public.”

However, that statement is less than truthful, since the Blue Ridge Parkway is part of the national park system.  However, it’s the main roadway from the tourist areas of the North Carolina Smokey Mountains and the popular Tennessee destinations of Pigeon Forge, Sieverville, and Gatlinburg.  Closing that would bring the ire out from tourists from all over the country.

O’Connell explained his reasoning for reversing his decision and reopening the inn, “The level of intimidation and coercion became such that we backed down. Then after sleeping on it, our own convictions took front and center and we decided to reopen,”

The park ranger’s superintendant did not return calls from the Washington Times for comment.

Let’s join one another to crush the unholy, unruly, jihadi Muslims. The good Muslims will thank us for it. And if they don’t–too bad.”

Meanwhile, while soldiers on American military bases cannot shop for groceries in the PX’s, because they've been closed, Obama continues to play golf at Andrew’s Air Base.

POLL: CRUZ 2016 FRONTRUNNER, NEW GOP LEADER

Breitbart is reporting that a new national poll has found that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is not only the 2016 frontrunner but also the politician Republicans view as their new leader in Washington, D.C.
A Public Policy Polling poll of GOP primary voters conducted September 25-26, while Cruz was speaking on the Senate floor for 21 hours in support of defunding Obamacare, found Cruz is the top choice “among Republican primary voters to be their candidate for President in 2016″:

He leads the way with 20% to 17% for Rand Paul, 14% for Chris Christie, 11% for Jeb Bush, 10% each for Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan, 4% for Bobby Jindal, and 3% each for Rick Santorum and Scott Walker.
Cruz received the support of 34% of “very conservative” voters while Paul received 17% and Ryan 12%. Those “very conservative” voters make up the greatest share of the GOP primary electorate at 39%.
The poll also found that “Cruz is now viewed more broadly as the leader of the Republican Party” over Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH):

When asked whether they trust Cruz or GOP leader Mitch McConnell more, Cruz wins out 49/13. When it comes to who’s more trusted between Cruz and Speaker John Boehner, Cruz has a 51/20 advantage. And when it comes to Cruz and 2008 GOP nominee and Senate colleague John McCain, Cruz wins out 52/31. He now has more credibility with the GOP base than the folks who have been leading the party for years.

“Ted Cruz this week established himself as the grassroots hero of the Republican Party,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling, which is left-leaning. “The party base has a lot more faith in him than their more official leaders like Mitch McConnell and John Boehner.”

Cruz has said this week that he is accountable to the grassroots and has blistered Washington’s permanent political class for not listening to Americans outside of the beltway. He hammered that point time and time again while he was on the Senate floor for his quasi-filibuster.

The poll, which surveyed 743 GOP primary voters, has a margin of error is +/- 3.6%.

It’s started in California.

19 years ago Senator Dianne Feinstein told us that she wanted to take every gun from every citizen in the country.

“Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ‘em all in,” she exclaimed.

Now, armed with $24 million in newly allocated taxpayer funds, the California Department of Justice is expanding it’s gun confiscation task force.

They’re literally going door-to-door to confiscate legally purchased guns. 

Reports indicate they’re seizing up to 40 guns each night, many from law-abiding gun owners without probable cause or without due process.

All because your State Legislature gave them the money to do it earlier this year.

Now, you might be thinking, “This doesn’t affect me. I’m not a felon. I’m not crazy. My gun’s legal.”

%First%, I hope you don’t make that mistake.

If the gun grabbers have it their way, EVERY gun in California would be labeled an “illegal gun.”

And just because they are seizing other people’s firearms now, doesn’t mean they won’t come after yours next.

In fact, lawmakers are coming back to Sacramento next week and more gun control is on the top of their list of things to do.
If they move forward with the dozen or so anti-gun bills they have in store, it will result in:

*** MORE legal guns being outlawed in the Golden State;

*** MORE otherwise law-abiding citizens being labeled “prohibited persons;” and ultimately,

*** MORE gun confiscation.

If California’s war on the Second Amendment hasn’t impacted you yet, it’s only a matter of time.

On Monday, August 12, the Senate Appropriations Committee will be addressing several anti-gun bills.

Then on Tuesday, August 13 Assembly Public Safety Committee will be taking up even more.

Here’s just a few of their new ideas to strip you of your constitutional rights: 

*** AB-48, Magazine Ban Expansion and Ammo Snitch Act:

This bill would require the California DOJ to report you to local police if you buy too much ammunition. It also would put you in jail for up to a year for possessing a so-called “high-capacity” magazine.

*** AB-1131, The Therapy Criminalization Act:

This bill increases the amount of time you could be barred from owning a gun because of something you tell a therapist in confidence. The time period would be increased from six months to FIVE YEARS!

*** SB-396, The Michael Bloomberg SAFE Act:

This bill would limit your magazine to 10 rounds. There is no grandfather clause in this bill, so if you already have one that holds more, you’d be a criminal.

Also on the agenda are:

*** Increased gun storage requirements (AB-231);

*** A waiting period increase for private sales that would force an FFL to cease your gun while you’re waiting to sell it (AB-500); and,

*** Banning firearms that use a release mechanism specially designed to make semi-automatic firearms compliant with current California law (SB-47).

And, if Sen. Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord) has his way, no firearm model would ever be allowed in California ever again without James Bond-style biometric scanners or palm print readers.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Steve, your lawmakers need to hear from you today.

Alleged hacked emails from defense contractor Britam reveal a plan “approved by Washington” and funded by Qatar to stage a chemical weapons attack in Syria and blame it on the Assad regime, fulfilling what the Obama administration has made clear is a “red line” that would mandate US military intervention.

The fact that the plan involves delivering a CW (chemical weapon) that is “similar to those Assad should have,” clearly suggests that the idea is to stage a false flag chemical weapons attack that could be blamed on Assad by Gulf states like Qatar and NATO powers.

If the claim that such as plot was “approved by Washington” can be verified, then the Obama administration is complicit in a war crime.

According to Cyber War News, which details the process of how the emails were hacked and includes screenshots of the leaked documents, the hack also uncovered, “extremely personal information,” including copies of passports of Britam employees, some of whom appeared to be mercenaries.

One software systems administrator who analyzed the ‘header’ details from the email in question concluded, “I have to admit that the email does indeed look genuine….all these facts check out. So with Mythbusters objectivity I have to call this one plausible.”

Online business profiles confirm that both David Goulding and Philip Doughty work for Britam Defence.

Last year, reports began to circulate that that US-backed rebel fighters in Syria had been given gas masks and were willing to stage a chemical weapons attack which would then be blamed on the Assad regime to grease the skids for NATO military intervention.

Soon after in August, President Barack Obama warned that the use or even transportation of chemical weapons by the Assad regime would represent a “red line” that would precipitate military intervention. French President Francois Hollande followed suit, stating that the use of such weapons “Would be a legitimate reason for direct intervention.”

At around the same time, a source told Syrian news channel Addounia that a Saudi company had fitted 1400 ambulance vehicles with anti-gas & anti-chemical filtering systems at a cost of $97,000 dollars each, in preparation for a chemical weapons attack carried out by FSA rebels using mortar rounds. A further 400 vehicles were prepared as troop carriers.

The attack would be blamed on the Syrian Army and exploited as an excuse for a military assault. A March 2012 Brookings Institution report entitled Saving Syria: Assessing Options For Regime Change outlined this very scenario – where a manufactured humanitarian crisis would be cited as justification for an attack.

Yesterday, Israel’s vice premier Silvan Shalom told reporters that if Syrian rebels obtained chemical weapons from stockpiles belonging to the Assad regime, such a development would force Israel to resort to “preventive operations,” in other words – a military strike on Syria.

In December, a shocking video emerged of Syrian rebels testing what appeared to be a form of nerve gas on rabbits, bolstering claims that the rebels had already obtained chemical weapons.

As Tony Cartalucci also highlights, “Mention of acquiring chemical weapons from Libya is particularly troubling. Libya’s arsenal had fallen into the hands of sectarian extremists with NATO assistance in 2011 in the culmination of efforts to overthrow the North African nation . Since then, Libya’s militants led by commanders of Al Qaeda’s Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) have armed sectarian extremists across the Arab World, from as far West as Mali, to as far East as Syria.”

Last month, 29 different US-backed Syrian opposition groups pledged their allegiance to Al Nusra, an Al-Qaeda-affiliated group which, as the New York Times reported, “killed numerous American troops in Iraq.

Numerous reports confirm that Al Nusra is the leading front line fighting force in Syria and is commanding other rebel groups. Given their prominent role, allied with the fact that the terror group has been responsible for numerous bloody attacks in Syria, the notion that the Obama administration would approve a plot that could see chemical weapons fall into the hands of Al-Qaeda terrorists could represent a foreign policy scandal even bigger than Benghazi-Gate.

In a related story, the Syrian Electronic Army, a separate hacktivist group, continues to release hacked files and emails from numerous sensitive foreign ministry and military websites belonging to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, including emails sent between these countries.

Leaked emails have allegedly proved that the White House gave the green light to a chemical weapons attack in Syria that could be blamed on Assad's regime and in turn, spur international military action in the devastated country.

A report released on Monday contains an email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor Britam Defence where a scheme 'approved by Washington' is outlined explaining that Qatar would fund rebel forces in Syria to use chemical weapons.

Barack Obama made it clear to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad last month that the U.S. would not tolerate Syria using chemical weapons against its own people.

According to Infowars.com, the December 25 email was sent from Britam's Business Development Director David Goulding to company founder Philip Doughty.

The emails were released by a Malaysian hacker who also obtained senior executives resumés and copies of passports via an unprotected company server, according to Cyber War News.

Dave Goulding's Linkedin profile lists him as Business Development Director at Britam Defence Ltd in Security and Investigations. A business networking profile for Phil Doughty lists him as Chief Operationg Officer for Britam, United Arab Emirates, Security and Investigations.

The U.S. State Department had not returned a request for comment on the alleged emails to MailOnline today at time of publication. 

However the use of chemical warfare was raised at a press briefing in D.C. on January 28.

A spokesman said that the U.S. joined the international community in 'setting common redlines about the consequences of using chemical weapons'.

A leaked U.S. government cable revealed that the Syrian army more than likely had used chemical weapons during an attack in the city of Homs in December. 

The document, revealed in The Cable, revealed the findings of an investigation by Scott Frederic Kilner, the U.S. consul general in Istanbul, into accusations that the Syrian army used chemical weapons in the December 23 attack.

An Obama administration official who had access to the document was reported as saying: 'We can't definitely say 100 per cent, but Syrian contacts made a compelling case that Agent 15 was used in Homs on Dec. 23.'

Mr Kilner's investigation included interviews with civilians, doctors, and rebels present during the attack, as well as the former general and head of the Syrian WMD program, Mustafa al-Sheikh.

Dr. Nashwan Abu Abdo, a neurologist in Homs, is certain chemical weapons were used. He told The Cable: 'It was a chemical weapon, we are sure of that, because tear gas can't cause the death of people.'

Eye witness accounts from the investigation revealed that a tank launched chemical weapons and caused people exposed to them to suffer nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, delirium, seizures, and respiratory distress.

The symptoms suggest that the weaponized compound Agent-15 was responsible. Syria denied using chemical weapons and said it would never use them against citizens.

Speaking to Pentagon reporters at the time, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said his biggest concern was how the U.S. and allies would secure the chemical and biological weapons sites scattered across Syria and ensure the components don't end up in the wrong hands if the regime falls, particularly under violent conditions.

Government forces and rebels in Syria have both been accused by human rights groups of carrying out brutal warfare in the 22-month-old conflict, which has claimed more than 60,000 lives.
